Why Retractable Leads?
Retractable leads are designed to allow dogs more freedom to move with the owner remaining in control.
Retractable leads have a spring action which controls the length of the lead as the dog moves. As the dog moves farther away, the lead extends longer but as the dog moves towards the owner, the lead retracts back into the casing and becomes shorter. This is unlike long leads where it usually ends up dragging on the ground.
