NEW JUNIOR RABBIT FOOD
Another step forward in rabbit health, thanks to Burgess Supafeeds.
Poor feeding regimes are the major contributing factor for illness in rabbits seen by veterinary practices. By feeding your rabbit Supa Rabbit Excel Junior, you will be helping to prevent the following:
|
Selective feeding
With Excel Junior this is eliminated as it is made up of single component nuggets with each nugget being nutritionally balanced.
Digestive problems
Rabbits survive on a minimalist diet based on plant fibre. Long roughage, such as hay and grass is essential to the rabbit for healthy digestion. When you feed Excel to your rabbit, along with the above mentioned, the fibre intake increases to in excess of 20%, providing the correct level for your rabbits needs.
Helping with teeth
One of the biggest health problems in rabbits is their teeth; by feeding Excel Junior your rabbit will be receiving a balanced ration of vitamins and minerals, particularly Vit D, Phosphorous and Calcium, which can help reduce the chances of dental disease.
Always introduce a new diet gradually. Rabbits do not like change and their digestive systems need time to adjust. You can introduce your rabbit to Excel Junior over a period of 10 days. Add 10% of Excel Junior in conjunction with existing food on day 1 and increase this daily by 10%. By day 5, 50% of your rabbits food should be Excel Junior and so on up to day 10. Junior Excel can be fed to pregnant and lactating does, dwarf breeds and of course junior rabbits.
We know different companies will promote their own product
as being the best but Burgess Excel Junior really does help.
My rabbit Sweep, (that's him in the photograph) a dwarf lop
of 5 and three quarter years
has always been a picky eater. A bit like a child really,
wont eat their fruit and vegetables but can always manage
those treats or junk food.
Gwen
told me to try Excel Junior and WOW, he loves it! He looks
healthier, has become very solid (he was always very boney)
and also he needed his bottom
cleaned everyday; this has significantly improved. He is
a much happier bunny and so am I, as this was not one of
my favourite jobs.
So, not only does Excel Junior help your rabbit, it benefits you also! Why not give it a try.
