Azmira Classic Cat Feline Poultry Formula is a star-shaped kibble made with the freshest ingredients possible to entice finicky feline taste buds. It contains the highest quality ingredients, including USDA Grade A meat. We refuse to use any artificial colourings, flavourings, or preservatives.

Our dry food are proven & veterinarian-approved worldwide for urinary disorders with cat food having pH 5.5 – 6.3 with average urine pH of 6.2 – 6.5 laboratory re-tested after long term prevention or acute rehabilitation protocols in May 2003.

Great Dry Formula

Using the same outstanding quality that we insist on for all our products, we have developed the best possible diets for cats (click here for ingredient information).

These diets are considered to be F.U.S. controlling diets. Feline Urologic Syndrome is an inflammation of the lower urinary tract and is most frequently caused by the formation of crystals or stones that block the urinary passage. We have formulated these diets to help prevent F.U.S. 

This exceptional formula is:

Formulated to produce a more acidic urine that has a lower pH. Acidic urine not only helps to keep those stones that begin to form - broken down and eliminated more easily but also helps control bacterial infections.

Low in magnesium, to minimize buildup in the urinary tract which may prevent stones from forming.

Low in ash, making the diets more digestible and more bioavaialbale.

WHAT MAKES AZMIRA CAT DRY FORMULAS SO DIFFERENT?

• fres-pet barrier packaging
  These bags are superior to paper and even zip lock bags in many ways. Clinical tests proved no rancidity for well over nine months! This resulted in food being kept as fresh as the day it was made. Vitamins remained potent, thus making them more effective. All the other ingredients also retained their "farm freshness", making them taste better, more bioavailable and all around better for your cat. 
  
  To get technical, traditional multi-ply paper bags have over 200 cc’s of air moving in and out of the bag - daily - resulting in spoilage (rancidity). If you had put that food into zip lock baggies there would be well over 600 cc’s of air transfer. In our fres-pet™ bag there is only 3 cc’s of air being transferred - not enough to effect rancidity. Of course, our primary goal is to get the food into your pantry as soon as possible after we make it. But isn’t it nice to know it will stay fresh regardless of when you buy it. Also, by storing your food in our fres-pet™ bag with the open end folded down (with three folds), your food will remain fresher, longer.
  
• Chelated minerals
  Because minerals are hard for the body to absorb, we use minerals that are chelated or "attached" to easily absorbable amino acids, for better digestion. As a result, our minerals are over 100% more readily absorbed than commonly used inorganic minerals.
  
• Ester-C®
  Like a chelated mineral, this patented form of Vitamin C is up to four times more bioavailable than ordinary Vitamin C.
  
• Menhaden Fish Meal
  Provides higher quality EFA’s (essential fatty acids), a natural flavour dogs love, and additional, easy-to-digest proteins for strong muscles & healthy skin.
  
• USDA meats & whole grains
  We only use the finest Grade A meats and grains. The meats in our dry foods are in a meal form to provide more "concentrated" nutrition. The grains are only whole grains, and all are pressure cooked to preserve their nutritional value and enhance digestibility. Whole Ground

Beef & Chicken Tasty, all muscle meat diet; great by itself, added to homecooked diets or for gravy. Excellent choice to mix well with supplements to “hide” them in the food.

Lamb & Rice Easy to digest – with fresh whole grains, peas & carrots. Excellent choice to improve energy and superior calorie utilization to stabilize weight in sick pets.

Ocean Fish Highest EFA’s, with easy-to-digest calories for ailing pets; stimulates appetites while providing energy for healing and optimum protein digestion.

Our canned formulas are made of only the finest Grade A meats, Grade 1 grains and flavourful vegetables for additional nutrients.

Where most other companies add water for processing we use Healthy Flavour Broth^TM (rich in fatty acids). Making our diets one of the highest in the essential fatty acids (Omega-3 & 6) that your pet needs for a healthy skin and coat. We never use cheap “fillers” or flavour “enhnacers” as these ingredients are known to interfere with nutrient assimilation.
